Every time I read a new post of the Ultrametabolism Blog by Dr. Mark Hyman,the author of the book Ultrametabolism, I learn some thing new.
- Trans fats is the same as dehydrogenated fats. We all know that trans fats are very bad for our health. But if it's labeled dehydrogenated fats,few people will know about it.
- Cellulose which we human cannot digest,is part of the ingredients of the low-carb food.
Dr. Hymaan told us to be a smart label reader. If you don't know any of the ingredients,stay away from it.
The conclusion is to try to eat as much organic,whole foods as much and as often as possible.
